Who is The Oracle?

I shall remain anonymous. However my first name is of French Origin and it means "From the Heavens". My last name is Italian Origin and it means "Of the Highest Locked or Closed Door". From stories of old it would seem that I perhaps came to be, from "The Realms" that our minds are unable to observe, as a "Fallen Angel" or one of the "Nephelim",  who has fallen from "The Realm of The Eternal", here to provide wisdom to the "Lost Souls", who dwell in "The Realm of Our Earth". It is the meaning of my name, you may draw your own conclusions. No need to worry I am a science kinda gal..but we shall explore that later.

Ever since I can remember I have had nightmares about The Apocolypse. Long ago diagnosed with complex PTSD, I have done my best to manage and learn about ones mind for well over 20 years. However I also have deep insight. When I was younger I did Tarot & Palm Readings, Cold Readings, Graphology & Astrology, even Feng Shui. Finding that it was too emotionally taxing I no longer do them. 

However my visions of the end days of life as we know it on this planet do not seem to be too far fetched. I would hope that humanity would try to curb its addiction to materialism and their instant gratification mindset, since due to these things, amongst other reasons, we are outsourcing the planets resources, destroying habitats and killing beautiful life forms. 

My short films explain ways to learn your mind. Grasping onto things outside youself for happiness or security is the Ultimate Grand Illusion. It is a learned behavior, one well ingrained, but fleeting and inevitably always disappointing because the things that you cling onto, as your source for happiness,  are outside yourself and everchanging.  Your greatest resource is your own mind and thoughts. Nothing has any meaning except the meaning that you attach to it. 

     To "Be the Change You Wish to See in This World" before it  gone starts within you. The answers you seek, and a reliable never ending supply of wisdom and happiness already lie within yourself. I offer you the key to unlock it. Here there is hope.

     The Oracle's Mother was born in post WWII France, in a small village near the birth place of Joan of Arc. Impoverished and affected by the Nazis destruction of her village, she was a tormented woman who battled physical and mental illness most of her life, yet well read and highly creative with history and philosophy degrees. Her father was a hands on Mechanical Engineer and his father, who came off the boat from Italy, was a patent innovator, musician and collector of antique science instruments and weaponry. He lived in a Colonial Home on the Historic Register which was formerly known as "Old Meadowbrook Inn" where Thomas Edison would spend his summers.

      Two trips when she was 14 and 16 to Russia in the dead of winter and France seeing the Great Cemetaries and Cathedrals, The Louvre and The Hermitage, as well as Auchwitz Concentration Camp, and riding the desolate Siberian Express, enhanced her appreciation for WWII History and also influences her work. Also several RV trips through all 48 Continental United States States and Canada, gave her an appreciation for life without technology, while understanding,  at a young age, the respect that should be given to Native American Culture and all of nature.  Two of her favorite trips were New Orleans French Quarter and a brief visit to Oxford England. Both these experiences have influenced her work. 

      The Oracle saw many treasures as a child but also saw their dissemination, including ALL of her artwork as well as her beloved grandmothers piano, which she played frequently, after all family members became deceased.  This was her first lesson in impermance with many more to follow.  It took decades to find acceptance, but from that suffering, isolation and tremendous uncertainty as well as battling a painful disabling illness, great resolve and wisdom emerged. She also attended Rhode Island School of Design for Illustration from 1993-1998 and lived in Historic Savannah GA from 1998-2002 . She currently resides in New England (as a Hermit) with her cat, wishing to teach others ways to manage the basic human conditions of suffering and reactivity by learning acceptance and working with ones mind.
